Jess became involved with CPA when her daughters performed in Joseph in 2018. Jess and her husband love seeing the joy in their three daughters’ faces onstage. Beyond theatre education, CPA programming helps children develop personal growth in friendships, leadership skills, and confidence. Bringing inclusive opportunities to all families is a goal Jess has so that every child can discover their uniqueness.
Jess spends her days working for St. Catherine University as an Assistant Professor and Director of Nursing for the College for Women. Her nursing background includes work in critical care, nursing consultation, research investigator, grant writing, and clinical education innovation and development. Jess founded Rise Up Health Clinics, a non-profit health care organization providing accessible, affordable care to children. In collaboration with community organizations and health care advocates, Jess enjoys pursuing public policy and legislation to repair a fragmented health care system to improve health equity.
