Adventures are unforgettable experiences donated by individuals, families, or businesses to help raise funds for Children’s Performing Arts (CPA). Every ticket purchased supports our 2025–2026 season of shows, camps, and workshops.

Family Broadway Rave

It’s a Broadway meets dance party – and a fundraiser for the arts!

Join us for a night of music, fun, and pure Broadway magic at the Family Broadway Rave, where the classrooms transform into a glowing, high-energy dance floor for all ages.

Sing along and dance to your favorite musical hits – from Hamilton to Frozen, Wicked to Matilda – as we turn down the lights, crank up the tunes, and celebrate the joy of theater together!

Your ticket includes pizza and pop, with extra snacks, drinks, and treats available for purchase. All proceeds support Children’s Performing Arts programs and student scholarships, helping us keep the spotlight shining bright all year long.

K-Pop Demon Hunter Pool Party
$30 per guest

Step into the ultimate summer crossover: K-Pop style meets fantasy adventure!
Get ready for a high-energy pool party packed with music, games, and creativity inspired by K-Pop, anime, and the world of demon-hunters.

Make a splash to your favorite K-Pop hits, learn a few signature dance moves, and join themed team challenges that bring the story to life – from “training quests” to “water-battle missions.” Strike your best idol pose, grab some props, and snap photos at the themed selfie stations before relaxing with cool treats and snacks poolside.

Costumes, colorful outfits, and bold accessories encouraged – come ready to move, play, and show off your inner hero!

Caroling Grams
$20 per household

Bring a little Broadway sparkle to your doorstep this holiday season with CPA’s Caroling Grams! Surprise your family, friends, or neighbors with a live mini-performance from our talented CPA singers – spreading joy, laughter, and a touch of musical magic.

Our caroling crew will arrive ready to perform 2-3 festive songs, filled with warmth, smiles, and holiday cheer. You can schedule a visit for your own home or send multiple Caroling Grams to family, friends, and neighbors for an extra dose of seasonal joy. It’s a perfect way to celebrate the season, support the arts, and make someone’s night merry and bright!

What’s Included:
Live visit from a group of CPA performers
2-3 festive holiday songs sung at your doorstep
Option to purchase multiple Grams for others
Keepsake holiday card from CPA

Notes:
Repertoire will feature primarily Christmas carols and familiar holiday favorites; if you prefer a different selection or wish to avoid certain songs, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate

Delivery radius of approximately 20 miles from the Hanifl Performing Arts Center (at CPA’s discretion)
Also open to performing virtually to those out of the 20 mile radius

Family Friendly Murder Mystery Dinner
$100 per duo (1 adult + 1 child (additional child for $40)
Date: April 12th
Location: Hanifl Performing Arts Center
Hosts: Ann Clark and Sharon Hanifl-Lee

Solve the case together! Bring your best detective partner – your child, grandchild, niece, or nephew – for a family-friendly night of mystery, laughter, and teamwork. Follow the clues, question suspects, and help crack the case while enjoying a delicious dinner and plenty of surprises along the way.

Each ticket admits one adult and one child, making this an easy and affordable way to experience a one-of-a-kind night of imagination and adventure.

Notes:
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Invitations with story details will be sent two weeks prior.

Drive-In Movie Night
$10 per person (no car) | $50 per car | $100 reserved parking

Spend a summer evening under the stars with CPA’s Drive-In Movie Night! Whether you’re rolling in with family or spreading out your blanket under the big screen, this outdoor movie experience is all about fun, friends, and fresh air.
Enjoy karaoke before dark, then settle in for a family-friendly movie on the big screen. Bring your own chairs and blankets, or stay cozy in your car – however you watch, you’ll have a great view and a great time!

Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase, and restrooms will be open inside the Hanifl Performing Arts Center.

What’s Included:
Entry for karaoke and outdoor movie night
Choice of ticket: individual, carload (up to legal seatbelt capacity), or reserved parking
Reserved parking spots are centered near the screen and include a complimentary popcorn ticket
Family-friendly movie with full speaker setup (FM broadcast pending)
Access to indoor restrooms
A relaxed, community evening under the stars

Guests may bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit outside their vehicles

Musical in a Weekend

A little bit crazy. A whole lot of heart.
Join CPA for Musical in a Weekend – a whirlwind, joy-filled adventure where an intergenerational cast and crew come together to rehearse, tech, costume, and perform a full musical… in just one weekend!

It’s not about perfection – it’s about community. About risk and resilience. About doing the impossible, together. Whether you’re 8 or 80, an onstage star, a behind-the-scenes hero, or a supportive cheerleader in the audience, this is theater at its most joyful: fast, funny, fearless, and full of heart.

What’s Included:
Full weekend of rehearsals, tech, and a benefit performance
Dinner provided Friday and Saturday
Roles for performers and crew of all ages and experience levels
Celebration and cast party on Sunday evening
The chance to make unforgettable memories with family and friends

Get Lit: A Book Lover’s Adventure
$65 per person

It’s time to Get Lit! – literally and figuratively.

Grab your favorite people (and maybe your reading glasses) for a book-inspired night out packed with laughs, literary cocktails, games, and a little mystery between the covers.

You’ll sip novel-worthy drinks, snack on story-themed bites and desserts, and join in bookish trivia, creative DIY fun, and lively conversation – no homework required. Each guest will also take home a personalized hardcover or audiobook credit from a local indie bookstore and a book-lover’s swag bag filled with treats and surprises.

It’s part book club, part social club, and totally your next favorite chapter. Not a big reader? No worries – come for the fun, food, and the chance to “get lit” with great company.

Margaritaville Murder Mystery Dinner

Step into a World of Intrigue and Suspense!  Join us for an unforgettable evening at our exclusive murder mystery dinner, where YOU become the detective! As a guest, you’ll immerse yourself in a thrilling storyline, gathering clues and interrogating suspects over a delectable meal and open bar. This is your chance to unleash your inner detective while enjoying an evening filled with laughter and camaraderie. Invitations will be sent out three weeks prior with everything you need to know, to whisk  you away to a different time for an unforgettable night. Secure your spot and prepare for an evening that promises to be both exhilarating and unforgettable!

Day at the Races
Adults – $150 per person / under 18 – $75

Experience the excitement of a premier Stakes Race Day at Canterbury Park – a high-caliber day of racing that attracts top horses, elite jockeys, and bigger purses. It’s an elevated, energy-filled event that offers a true insider’s view of Minnesota’s most thrilling race season.
Get ready for an unforgettable day at the track! Join hosts Paul and Suzanne Hanifl for a Day at the Races Adventure, where excitement, elegance, and entertainment meet.
Enjoy premium seating with some of the best views in the house, a full dinner with drinks, and insider access to the world of horse racing. You’ll receive a personal introduction to the paddock, tips and insights from the Hanifls (who own and race horses), and even a behind-the-scenes peek at what it’s like to be part of an owner’s “inner circle.”
Whether you’re a first-time spectator or a seasoned bettor, this event is all about fun, friendship, and the thrill of the race!

Beauty & Bubbles: A Girls’ Night Makeover Party

Discover how to create a skincare routine that really works for you and master a flattering, everyday makeup look that enhances your natural beauty. You’ll work hands-on with your own products (and a few surprises!) while Jennifer shares pro techniques, product recommendations, and personalized advice.

Paella Night at Margaux’s Table

Gather around the fire for an unforgettable evening of food, wine, and community at Paella Night at Margaux’s Table. This unique culinary adventure combines the charm of a backyard dinner party with the artistry of a chef-led dining experience.

Enjoy artisan appetizers/charcuterie, fresh bread, and seasonal salad as Chef Peggy Doran, owner of Margaux’s Table, demonstrates how to create her signature seafood paella cooked over an open flame. Sip some wine, take in the savory aromas, and watch as the vibrant flavors of Spain come to life before your eyes.

All of Margaux’s ingredients are organic, locally sourced, and responsibly raised or wild-caught – so every bite feels as good as it tastes.
