Braylon M. Lane

Education & Programming Manager

Braylon is an award-winning director hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and an associate member of the Stage Directors & Choreographers Society (SDC). He has worked on numerous projects at all levels of production. In recent months, he has either performed or worked on creative teams with companies such as The Phipps Center for Performing Arts in Wisconsin, Century College, Burnsville Summer Theatre, SoWashCo Summer Sock, & Inver Grove Heights Community Theatre. He has training from New York University, the University of Minnesota-Duluth, Southwest Minnesota State University, and Normandale College. He is also the resident Competition One Act & Spring Play Director at White Bear Lake Area High School, where his students took first place as the MSHSL Section 4AA State Champions for She Kills Monsters in 2025. When he isn’t directing, you can catch him serving as a Spotlight Evaluator for Hennepin Theatre Trust or a Competition One-Act official judge. Up next, Braylon will be directing ‘Miss Nelson Is Missing’ at the Phipps Center For The Arts (Hudson, Wisconsin) and ‘Newsies’ here at CPA for our Summer 2026 Young Professionals Summerstock Production!
