Children’s Performing Arts is currently seeking an External Relations and Advancement Manager to join our team!

This position at Children’s Performing Arts (CPA) will primarily be responsible for directing CPA’s contributed revenue efforts through community relationships and development. This position will head up public relations communications both internal and external. You will work with marketing staff to develop communication and engagement strategies as well as create, administer, and implement the organization’s long-term plan. The role often necessitates working closely with other departments in the organization, the Board of Directors as well as with our partner organization, Lakeshore Players Theatre.

Seasonal Openings

Children’s Performing Arts is seeking aspiring arts professionals to serve as teaching assistants for their upcoming summer camps. Interns will collaborate with professional teaching artists and staff to plan and implement over 10 theatre classes, including production camps and creative dramatics classes. 

This is a paid, seasonal position that runs from mid-June to Mid August, with an expected workload of 30 hours per week. Contract Position Openings

We are currently seeking contractors to round out positions in the rest of our 2021/2022 Season. Positions include directors, music directors, choreographers, light designers, costume designers, and stage managers. If you are interested in working with students of all ages in a fun and educational environment, please send your resume along with 3 references to Children’s Performing Arts’ Executive Director, Kerri Lesch at kerril@childrensperformingartsmn.org. Please include your websites and work samples if you have them!
