Katie is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of CPA’s board having joined in the fall of 2021. She has been involved with CPA for the past three years after her daughter Charlotte participated in a summer camp production of Jungle Book Kids. As a parent and now a board member, Katie has seen first hand the difference Children’s Performing Arts can make in the lives of children that participate in their programs. She loves the safe and supportive environment it provides kids to gain confidence on stage. She also loves how invested CPA is in the surrounding communities.
Katie has always had a passion for working with kids. She holds a BA degree in Nursing from Gustavus Adolphus College and worked as a Pediatric Registered Nurse at Children’s Hospital in St Paul. She now enjoys being a stay-at-home mom and being an active parent volunteer with her kid’s schools and various activities. Katie resides in White Bear Lake with her husband (Chris), kids (Oliver & Charlotte), and their Great Dane (Hux). In her free time, she enjoys exploring Minnesota state parks through camping and hiking.
