What will this program entail?
Are you ready to take on a bigger role in the production process? Want to learn more about how to craft a weekend of performances with your friends? Excited to keep honing your high-level actor skills? In this unique, two-month process, students will have the opportunity to workshop various 10-minute plays, to craft a final showcase for friends and family.
After students have been cast, they will receive advanced coaching and training in script analysis and various acting techniques and vocabulary. Throughout the process, they will also have the opportunity to try their hand at learning more about direction, costuming, and other technical areas of theatre.
This will culminate in four performances for the public to showcase the hard work students have put in!
Auditions:
Auditions will take place during the first two weeks of rehearsals.
Rehearsals:
January 8th-February 16th – Sundays and Tuesdays from 6:00-8:30 PM
Rehearsals will take place 2-4 times a week in the evenings, based on the availability of the cast.
Tech:
February 18th-February 23rd, Time TBD
Performances:
Friday, February 24th @ 7:00 PM (Opening Night)
Saturday, February 25th @ 2:00 PM (Closing Night + Strike)
